My name is Lisa. I have been a teacher at Anqing Foreign Language School for almost a year now. It has been a great adventure! I was born in Russia, but I came to Anqing from America where I’ve lived for the last ten years. I really love my students. I teach primary and senior high study abroad classes. I’m amazed by the students’ enthusiasm in learning English, and by the progress that they have made throughout the year. I’m also very grateful for the supportive administration of the school. They answer all of my questions, and even help with non-school related tasks such as buying train tickets and shopping online! They have made the transition from America to China very easy. Finally, I love traveling, and have never visited Asia before! This opportunity has given me a chance to visit many cities in China, and for the Chinese New Year vacation, I was able to travel to Japan. It has been very fun to get acquainted with the Chinese culture!
